We're back from Florida and resting up now. We had a great time while we were away. We went to SeaWorld the first day. The Shamu show was great! The boys really enjoyed the show a lot and I video taped all of it so we can watch it over and over again. It was a long, hot day, but very enjoyable. They have a roller coaster that is is the best I've ever been on. Several loops and twists and very little jerking of the head of body w/it!!!
The second day we went to Kennedy Space Center. To be honest, I was a little bored there. However, the kids seemed to enjoy themselves and had fun riding something that mocked a spaceship take off. I stayed w/Emalee and missed that ride.
The 3rd day we drove down to Brian's 2nd cousin's condo. This was about 40 miles from Miami. We had a great time on the beach w/them and enjoyed visiting. They cooked us a fabulous Mexican dinner and we all stayed the night and went to the beach the next day too. It was a private beach with only about 25 people on it. It was really great because the next day we went to a public beach with thousands of people on it! We also got to see 3-4 water spouts. I thought we were leaving the tornadoes behind, but somehow they followed us! Our last day we went back to our hotel and just rested, swam in the pool, walked around Orlando a little bit, etc. We stayed right next door to the world's largest McDonald Playplace! It was very loud, crowded and very annoying, but of course the kids loved it too!
Emalee did really well on the flight to Orlando, but on the way back she cried about half the way home. Our fight was at 7:50 in the morning and we had to be at the airport 2 hours before take off. We woke up at around 4 a.m., so her routine was really messed up on top of being messed up already!!! She really likes routine and when something messes it up she's a complete pill!!! We had a crib in our hotel and she slept in it really well too! I'll post pictures as soon as I get some time to do that.
