Here's what I got at CVS pharmacy this week.
1st transaction:
2 Pampers diapers 8.99 each
-$2 in manufacturers coupons
-$10 in CVS extra care bucks (ecb's) from last weeks purchases.
= $5.98 + tax out of pocket
Received $10 in ecb's back for the diapers
With sales, coupons and ecb's saved a total of $18.50
2nd transaction:
2 Dawn dishsoap 2/$2
2 boxes Kellogg's frosted flakes $5.19 each buy one get one free (BOGO)
2 boxes Kellogg's mini wheats $4.39 each BOGO
2 boxes Kellogg's Special K $4.49 each BOGO
2 Banana Boat sunscreen spray $10.49 each
-.75 manufac. coupon for the Dawn
-$7.00 manufac. coupons for the cereal
-$4.00 manufac. coupons for the suncreen
-$10.00 ecbs from the 1st transaction
=$15.30 out of pocket
Received $8.00 in ecb's back ($7 for the sunscreen and $1 for the Dawn)
With sales, coupons and ecb's saved $37.80
Spent more than I normally do, but now I'm well stocked on sunscreen for the rest of the summer and have $7 in ecb's to roll next time.
All I have left to purchase this week is milk, bread, toilet paper and ground chuck with $18.72 left in my weekly budget to cover those. I think it's doable!
